Software Blueprint
Two weeks of structured discovery that ends in a complete specification, architecture and fixed build price. Usually follows a half-day Process Audit.
£1,950 · 2 weeks
Custom software for growing businesses
We turn spreadsheets, manual processes and stalled prototypes into reliable software. Every project starts with a written blueprint and a fixed quote, so you know exactly what you are getting and what it costs.
One file, too many tabs, and only one person who really understands it. Every week someone retypes the same data.
You built a first version with a no-code or AI app builder. It proved the idea, but now it breaks, and nobody can safely change it.
Agencies sent vague proposals, open-ended day rates and a price that only made sense for much bigger companies.
Services
Clear deliverables, agreed timelines and a price you see up front. No open-ended billing.

Responsible AI
Technology should make your team's work better, not just faster. Three principles shape everything we build. They are part of how we work on every project, not extras sold separately.
Before designing anything, we spend time with your team watching how the work really gets done, including the workarounds nobody writes down.
Your people stay in charge. AI handles the repetitive part, every suggestion can be checked and corrected, and a manual fallback always exists.
Every AI feature goes through a plain-language checklist covering fairness, transparency and data protection, and we tell you honestly when AI isn't the right answer.
Each Blueprint records who an AI feature affects, what happens when it gets something wrong, who reviews its output and what data it uses.
AI suggestions can always be checked, corrected or switched off, with a manual way of working kept in place.
We tell you, and the people who use the software, where AI is involved and what it does.
Data is kept in the UK or EU by default, and personal data is never used to train AI tools.
We are a software studio, not an AI ethics or legal consultancy. If a project involves decisions about people, such as hiring, credit or access to services, we will tell you it needs specialist legal and ethics advice and help you find it, rather than pretend to provide it ourselves.
How we work
A free 30-minute call, then an optional £495 Process Audit that puts a cost on the problem.
The Blueprint: requirements, architecture and a fixed quote you sign off before any build begins.
Short cycles with a working demo every week. You see progress, not status reports.
Hosting, monitoring, fixes and small improvements on a simple monthly care plan.
Why a small team
We use modern AI-assisted engineering to move faster than traditional teams. Every line is reviewed and tested by us, and we take responsibility for what we ship.
No account managers. The people on your call are the people writing your software.
Scope changes are discussed and priced before they happen, never discovered on an invoice.
Source code, documentation and data are yours. No lock-in.
Mainstream, well-supported tools any competent developer can maintain after us.
Pricing
Every project follows the same three steps. Each fee is deducted in full from the next one, and you can stop after any step with something useful in hand.

Ovysion Technologies is a UK-based software studio working with small and medium-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland and Italy. We build practical tools that replace fragile spreadsheets and manual processes, and help teams use AI where it genuinely helps.
We start by understanding how work is really done, write down what we will build before we build it, and agree the price before we start. When something is outside what we do well, we say so.
We are a small team by choice. It means you work directly with the people who build your software, and that we take on only the projects we can deliver properly.

With a free 30-minute call. If there's a fit, the next step is a £495 Process Audit: half a day with your team on one process, and a two-page report showing what it costs you each year and what could fix it.
Most software overruns come from building before the problem is understood. The £1,950 Blueprint fixes scope, timeline and price before any build starts, includes a payback calculation, and is credited in full against the build. You keep it either way.
Yes, if you have a process that costs real time or money: typically a team of 5 to 100 people running important work on spreadsheets, email or paper. The audit tells you whether software would pay for itself before you commit.
No. We also rescue prototypes built with no-code or AI app builders, and automate document-heavy work.
Starter apps cost £6,950 and Standard apps £12,500, with the exact price fixed in the Blueprint. Document automation starts from £5,950. All prices are on this page and exclude VAT.
Builds are paid in two or three stages, so you never pay the full price up front. If the budget is tight, we can split a larger project into phases and start with the workflow that saves you the most. Care plans after launch are monthly.
Anything outside the signed Blueprint is written up as a change request with its own fixed price and timeline. You approve it before work starts, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Audits and Blueprints are paid up front. Builds under £10,000 are paid 50% on signing and 50% on launch; larger builds 40% on signing, 30% at a mid-project demo, and 30% on launch.
A Process Audit takes half a day and a Blueprint about two weeks. Starter apps take 4 to 6 weeks, Standard apps 6 to 8, and document automation 3 to 6. You see a working demo every week.
Yes, and that's deliberate. Before designing anything we spend time with the people who do the work, watching how it really happens. Findings are about processes, never individual performance, and taking part is voluntary.
You do: the custom code, documentation and data, on final payment. We use mainstream technology any competent developer can maintain.
Every build includes 30 days of free fixes. After that you can take everything in-house, or choose a care plan from £195 a month for hosting, updates, monitoring and fixes.
Yes. We use AI-assisted tools to work faster, like most modern engineering teams. Every line is reviewed and tested by us, we're accountable for what we ship, and we never put your personal data into AI tools without your written agreement.
That's not how we design. AI handles the repetitive part; your people keep the judgement. Every AI suggestion can be checked and corrected, a manual fallback always exists, and we'll tell you honestly when AI isn't the right answer.
In the UK or EU by default, encrypted in transit and at rest, with multi-factor authentication and minimal access. We sign a data processing agreement on every project; details are in our privacy notice.
Every AI feature goes through a plain-language checklist in the Blueprint: who it affects, what happens when it's wrong, who reviews it and what data it uses. If a project involves decisions about people, such as hiring or credit, we'll tell you it needs specialist legal and ethics advice and help you find it.
No. It answers from a fixed list of information about our services, runs in your browser and doesn't store what you type. For anything it can't answer, a person replies to the contact form within one working day.
Yes, especially in Ireland and Italy, with price lists in euros. We work in English and Italian, and schedule calls in your time zone.
Many Italian regions and chambers of commerce offer vouchers that cover part of the cost of digital projects. Rules and supplier eligibility vary by scheme, so we'll help you check before you commit.
Yes, and we say so openly. That's why every project starts small: a half-day Audit, then a Blueprint with a fixed price, and a working demo every week of the build. You can judge our work at each step before committing to the next.
